CRC Industries Europe is a dynamic, multinational company with parent company in Philadelphia (USA) and European headquarters in Zele. We manufacture and distribute specialized chemical products, including lubricants, cleaners, degreasers and anti-corrosion agents for the electronics and automotive sectors in particular and for industry in general. In the EMEIA region, we have production sites in Belgium (Zele), Great Britain and South Africa as well as sales locations in Germany, France, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Hungary, Denmark, Turkey, Portugal and India. Distribution in the other European countries and the Middle and Far East is done directly from Zele.

To better support the EMEIA HR organization, we are looking to hire:

HR Manager UK & Scandinavia (m/f)

The role is responsible for executing Human Resources and organizational activities covering personnel support and management support.

Some tasks that await you:

  • Personnel Administration:
    • Administer new employee processes: ADP data entry, setup communication, announcement drafting and new hire details for EMEIA HQ.
    • Manage holiday calendars, staff absence, and sickness records.
    • Monitor employee absences and ensure return-to-work forms are completed.
    • Process and file holiday entitlements.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Manage UK recruitment processes: create JD’s, benchmark checks, draft offers, Right to Work checks, temp payroll confirmations, and fee negotiations.
    • Induct new employees.
    • Liaise with external recruitment parties.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Manage international communications: emails and noticeboard postings.
    • Organize annual staff handbook updates with Moorepay and distribute.
    • Gather and process salary review proposals.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Liaise with external HR for advice.
    • Address personnel issues, queries, and problems for employees and support line managers.
  • Payroll and Data Management:
    • Inform payroll of changes before monthly processing.
    • Update our ERP system D3FO with new starters and leavers.
    • Performance Management: notify and follow up with managers on probations and performance reviews.
    • Training and Development Organize and record training activities and maintain a training matrix.
    • Documentation and Compliance:
      • Maintain and update peronnel files and document archives.
      • Connect with external advisor for employment legislation advice.
    • Other Responsibilities also include the execution of some general office management duties (<10%), restricted to the co-ordination of employee travel arrangements and the organization of significant staff events such as Christmas functions, retirement celebrations, etc.

This is what we expect from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree combined with 5+ years of HR experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with collaborative working abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
  • Confidentiality and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and communicate with Scandinavian locations.
